Beautiful location with gorgeous views of Positano. A big thanks in particular to the Sicilian lady at reception for her assistance and friendliness.

We had two nights here recently and had a great time. It's pretty high up in Positano, 400 steps down before you reach the village which was fine for us as we needed the exercise after eating all we did. The pool looks great. We didn't go in as it closed at 6pm so we missed it the first day and it wasn't warm enough the next. Staff were great, room  was fine. Not a 4 star by say other standards but good for Italian. The breakfast was really good - hot and cold buffet with plenty of fresh bread etc. Parking is extra E20 per day. We didn't eat any other meals though so can't comment on that. Reception staff great at recommending restaurants etc. Would definately stay here again.

Foi tudo muito bom neste hotel. A única ressalva é para quem tem problemas de mobilidade, o elevador não vai a todos os andares, e os corredores são imensos. Achei tbém muito confusa a numeração dos quartos. O café da manhã é excelente! O estacionamento é um pouco caro, mas preferimos pagar pq em Positano não tem como andar de carro direito! Equipe  do hotel e recepcionistas solícitos e educados. Internet só se for no hall do hotel, mas é gratuita.

this hotel is located about 400 steps from the beach but well worth it once you get there. (PS: there is a bus that can take you to the door). Fantastic pool overlooking Positano, good restaurants in close proximity. Great value for the quality of room and views!

Great hotel to stay in Positano. Yes there are stairs but that's part of it. Close to restaurants, if you are coming by bus make sure you get off at the right stop. Pool is nice and clean, if you have a swimming cap make sure you bring it as you need one to swim in the pool (other alternative is to buy one from hotel).

Buen hotel, pero muy lejos de la playa y el centro. Un buen lugar si estas dispuesto a bajar y subir escaleras o tomar bus a cambio de una muy buena piscina, sobre todo en el agobiante verano amalfitano. Eso si, hay que estar dispuesto a usar gorra de baño.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the Amalficoast for 8 days. Diffrent places. iam 29 and my girlfriend 27 and we have been traviling alot the last years. But i need to be honest to admit that we were not happy about this hotell. The pics look awsame but as some already have been written the hotell is not in that good condition. We payed extra for seview  in top floor. Thats ofcourse ok but the total were not OK. We are quite young but the distance and the STAIRS to the hotell are just to much. OK, a bus were going from the hotell. overpacked, never catch it. Book a hotell further down the main town. The stuff in the reception were just perfect but as i wrote we would not book this hotell again.

This hotel is alright if you choose a room with a balcony and a view over the city. It would have been perfect unless this tree was blocking the view. It is wrong to say that these rooms has ocean view, as the tree covers all there is to see of the ocean - this was quite dissappointing. The room was nothing great with lack of romance, but the balcony  does it all to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. To have a swin in the pool, you actually have to buy a swim cap for 3,50 EUR or something - this is ridiculous as you pay a lot to stay there in the first place. The staff was great - gave us alot of good recommendations for restaurants and sights. Its quite a walk down to the city centre and the beach, and back up all the stairs, but it is doable. It is better to stay at this hotel which is outside the touristy center - and it is better to eat at the restaurants nearby this hotel. We rented a scooter anyway, to see the sights surrounding the Amalfi Coast - this is highly recommended.

Domina Home Royal has a fantastic view, and is has a lot to offer for a family on vacation. But the hotel is a bit worn and could use some maintenance. The big minus is the location. Its manageable to walk the 400 steps + steep hill to reach the city center and the beach, but the return trip is a true work out and not to recommend elderly, families  with children or anyone who do not mind a work out after dinner. The bus ride from the center to the hotel is 10-15min and the taxi is 20 Eur. The breakfast at the hotel is just ordinary, nothing special and the coffee is close to terrible. The breakfast staff is busy joking around and talking to the Italian guest rather than cleaning the tables or be attentive to international travelers attempts to get their attention. The reception staff has some great restaurant tips.

Hotel aconchegante, limpissimo, vista estupenda. Cafe da manha muito bom, servido na varando com uma vista simplismente espetacular. Quartos com balcoes bucolicos ( pedir quartos com vista). Como ele fica no alto da montanha seu carro eh conduzido a um estacionamento fora da sua visao, mas quando solicitado o carro chega imediatamente.Pessoal todo do  hotel extremamente prestativo. Este eh um hotel para ir e esquecer que tem que voltar. Gostamos muito.
